It is encoded by a gene that is adjacent to a gene enciding a protein of 638 aas and one or two TMSs at the N-terminus and one TMS at the C-terminus that could be an auxiliary protein (acc# PRP88019). The organism encodes two ABC3-type ATPases, either of which could be the energizer for this efflux transporter. Their acc #s are PRP76045 and PRP78455.
