Human outward rectifying potassium channel, Slo2.1 of 1135 aas. Produces rapidly activating outward rectifier K+ currents. Activated by high intracellular sodium and chloride levels. Channel activity is inhibited by ATP and by inhalation anesthetics, such as isofluraneInhibited upon stimulation of G-protein coupled receptors such as CHRM1 and GRIA1.  Orthologous to 1.A.1.3.4 (Garg et al. 2013).  Hydrophobic interactions between residues in S5 and the C-terminal end of the pore helix stabilize Slo2.1 channels in a closed state (Suzuki et al. 2016).
