Helps the SK2 channel (TC# 1.A.1.16.1) insert into the cytoplasmic membrane (Zhang et al. 2016).  Shares an N-terminal domain (residues 30 - 260) with other members of the Dystrophin family, but the remainder of the protein is non homologous.
