This gene cluster also encodes an extracellular arabinanase, an intracellular arabinofuranosidase, and many other enzymes of arabinose/pentose metabolism as well as a sensor kinase/response regulator and another ABC transporter, probably specific for arabinose (TC# 3.A.1.2.32).
