3.A.1.115.1 Na+ efflux pump NatAB. It is induced by ethanol andby protonophores (Cheng et al. 1997). A similar system was found in the alkaliphilic Bacillus firmus OF4 species (Wei et al. 1999). The Bacillus subtilis NatK-NatR two-component system regulates expression of the natAB operon (Ogura et al. 2007).
