Conjugation system, IntP/TcpA-J (Bannam et al., 2008; Teng et al., 2008). TcpA but not TcpB is essential for transfer of the conjugative plasmid pCW3 (Parsons et al., 2007). TcpA interacts with other pCW3-encoded proteins to form an essential part of the conjugation complex (Steen et al., 2009).
