1.D.93.  The Fumaramide Self-assembled Transmembrane Anion Channel (Fumaramide) Family

Self-assembled transmembrane anion channels result oligomerization of fumaramides in membranes. Such artificial ion channel formation was confirmed by ion transport across liposomes and by planar bilayer conductance measurements (Roy et al. 2018). A geometry-optimized model of the channel and Cl- ion selectivity within the channel lumen was illustrated.
