Golgi UDP-N-acetylglucosamine transporter (Ishida et al., 1999a). Conserved Glu-47 and Lys-50 residues are critical for UDP-N-acetylglucosamine/UMP antiport activity of the mouse Golgi-associated transporter (Toscanini et al. 2019). Colorectal cancer with low SLC35A3 is associated with immune infiltrates and poor prognosis (Lu et al. 2024).  Potential interaction partners have been identified (Wiktor et al. 2021).
