3.E.1.4.3 H+ pumping rhodopsin (opsin; Ops), of 313 aas and 7 TMSs (Idnurm and Howlett 2001; Waschuk et al., 2005). Its 3-d strcuture has been solved, and it resembles archaeal rhodopsins more than bacterial rhodopsins (Zabelskii et al. 2021).
