Oncocin of 19 aas (vdkppylprp rpprriynr) is a proline rich peptide with anti-microbial activity and synergy with MDR transporters. A derivative of oncocin, called OM19r, has the same N-terminal sequence and 19 aas, but a different C-terminal sequence.  See family description for details. Triphenylphosphonium analogs of short peptides related to Bactenecin 7 and Oncocin 112 are antimicrobial agents (Tereshchenkov et al. 2024).
