1.M.4. The Spanin4 (Spanin4) Family
Multiple proteins with 190 - 250 aas and two or three TMSs, one at the N-termini and either one or two at the C-termini comprises this family. It may be a U-spanin, spanning the inner and outer membranes, but it has not been functionally characterized.
Spanin of 203 aas and 2 or 3 TMSs, RIO-1_6.
Spanin of Pseudoalteromonas phage RIO-1
One component spanin of 189 aas and 2 (possibly 3) TMSs, N- and C-terminal, with one possible TMS adjacent to the N-terminal TMS.
Spanin of Pseudoalteromonas phage HP1
Spanin of 251 aas and 1 N-terminal TMS plus 2 C-terminal TMSs.
Spanin of phage KZY1-k141_1263260
Spanin of 217 aas and 2 or 3 TMSs at the N- and C-termini.
Spanin of Pseudoalteromonas phage PH357
