1.M.4.  The Spanin4 (Spanin4) Family

Multiple proteins with 190 - 250 aas and two or three TMSs, one at the N-termini and either one or two at the C-termini comprises this family.  It may be a U-spanin, spanning the inner and outer membranes, but it has not been functionally characterized.
