9.B.253. The Uncharacterized Bacterial Protein-5 (UBP5) Family
The proteins of the UBP5 family usually have about 180 - 220 aas and 6 TMSs, but some are larger and have more TMSs. They are found in a range of culturalbe and unculturable bacteria, the latter for example of the CPR domain.
Uncharacterized protein of 213 aas and 6 TMSs. The first 5 TMSs of this protein show weak similarity (e-5) with TC#9.B.142.5.3, a glycosyl transferease.
UP of Candidatus Wolfebacteria bacterium
Uncharacterized proteini of 182 aas and 5 or 6 TMSs.
UP of Pseudomonas thermotolerans
Uncharacterized protein of 205 aas and 6 TMSs.
UP of Sporomusa silvacetica
Uncharacterized protein of 200 aas and 6 TMSs.
UP of Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Uncharacterized protein of 213 aas and 5 TMSs.
