9.B.76 The Goadsporin Immunity Protein, GodI (GodI) Family The GodI protein of Streptomyces sp. TP-A0584 confers immunity to goadsporin (Onaka et al., 2005). The mechanism of action is not known, but it shows extensive sequence similarity with the 54 kDa GTPase subunit of the Signal Recognition Particle (SRP) (TC# 3.A.5).
